Boulevard Trail, the easiest of the five trails to Mount LeConte’s summit
Although this is an easy trail, many people still consider it strenuous. Take the Appalachian Trail from Newfound Gap to Boulevard Trail. Elevation gain is 1,545 feet. This trail is 16 miles round trip. Hiking ease is difficult because the trail rises and falls frequently.
Appalachian Trail
This area is part of the Appalachian Trail. You’ll hike approximately 4.7 miles uphill and about 3.4 miles downhill. The average elevation gain per mile is 385 feet.
You will access Boulevard Trail from the Newfound Gap parking lot. Follow the Appalachian Trail east for 2.7 miles. In the spring and early summer, you’ll see many wildflowers along this part of the trail. Pets are not permitted on the trail.
